WEAs' application of geospatial data in the decision-making process can best be described in two categories: Assessment and Analysis. The use of this location based data is tremendously useful in assessing historic and current situations and environments (including the management of this information over time) and analyzing the interaction of current and historic datasets, estimating future conditions, evaluating risk, and determining site suitability. WEA often integrates public and private geospatial data with field collection information to provide a more robust framework for making these decisions.  With the use of Environmental Systems Research Institute's (ESRI©) ArcGIS® software, WEA equips our staff and our clients with the best information available to guide the decision-making process on each project. Our staff is also proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD), remote-sensing, LiDar, aerial photography, and various data management technologies.
